Possible Drum Mod

Just want to know if it this is possible.

Let's say I come across an extra Drum Pedal for Rock Band ... Would it be possible to buy a cable splitter at Radioshack or somewhere else and splice the two pedals into one connection thus having a Double Bass. I want to start playing Drums on Hard/Expert, but I get to frustrated when I play songs that basically require you to have a Double Base Pedal.

So does anyone know a way to get a 2nd Bass Pedal without having to buy another Drum Kit?

Submit an RMA saying your kick peddle is broken and get it express shipped. Then when the peddle gets to your house don't send your old one back. Yah... it will cost you $125 but you're not buying a whole nother drum set. =p

Or just wait a while. I'm pretty sure that after they catch up on instrament production next year they might start producing extra peddles to sell seperatly. Or least I hope they will. Would be a smart move on HMX's part.

You don't need to split the wires. It's been proven that a female y-adapter for headphones works prefectly, and it won't void your warranty. I'm sure it's cheaper and less time consuming too.

Sorry ... when I said splitter ... thats what I meant. i wouldn't even know how to splice two wires together.

I also am in possession of two kick pedals and a splitter so i tried it out.

it works! now i just gotta get used to it lol

Haha, this is a crazy thing to do. Just play the real drums if you want be that advanced.

Awesome! I played the drums on my friends Rock Band and really needed a double bass pedal for some songs. Makes things sooo much easier.

actually if you look in the posts (i don't remember the topic) but someone made a foot pedal and it showed it on a you tube video and it really worked
