I don't know is this has happened to anyone before, but if it has, please don't flame me for it. Here's what happened (as told through an e-mail I sent to EA that has yet to be replied to after five days)

"I have a Playstation 3, and my Rock Band wireless guitar stopped working properly. So, I signed up for a replacement guitar and checked the option in which I would give you my credit card number, you would ship me the new guitar in two days, and I would ship you my broken guitar in the same box. Here are the problems:

1. It is, as of this writing, four days since I signed up for the replacement (not really a major problem).
2. I recieved the box, opened it (for some reason it said "Xbox 360 Wired Guitar" although I have a PS3), and found that there was NO GUITAR inside. There was, however, a paper acknowledging that there should have been a guitar inside (it said something like "How to ship your broken guitar, Step 1, remove NEW GUITAR from box, etc.).

Now, this is extremely weird. I hope that nobody at Harmonix is taking advantage of my mother's credit card number. I am sure that that is not the case. Moreover, I am almost positive that nobody stole the guitar because the box was sealed up with tape when I got it. But I would really like my replacement guitar to come by Monday, as I have relatives coming down and would really like to share Rock Band with them. Can you please instuct me as to what I should do with the box you sent me and what will happen concerning my actual replacement guitar?

Thank you."

Has the empty box deal happened to anyone else? How do I resolve this so that I get a new guitar?

Thanksin advance.

Call EA and explain the situation to them.

Tried calling didn't work. They hide their numbers like little douches. Can anyone find a legit number (I don't care if it won't work because the offices are closed on Christmas) that I can call, or a solution to this problem?

My internet connection is routinely timing out so I'm too lazy to go check for you, but have you tried looking at the Tech Support forum for a number?

Thanks for all the replies, and yes, it does suck. I haven't checked tech support for a number, but that's the thing. I'm assuming that EA is hiding their number or they don't even list it, just so they can screw you over. I did find a few numbers on forums that I'll try after Christmas, but I doubt they will work.
