So 75 days after buying the game, my hofner bass has a broken switch in the strum bar. It seems the magnetic switch for the up strum is shorted and is always closed/registering a strum. Can I replace this switch so that my guitar can work again?

There are two strum fixes that I know of, ByteArts and MaxxAxxe.

As to replacing the broken component, probably best to ask Doc_Socal, he might even have a part number :)

I got it working, the little magnetic reed switch was bad. Found another one, and unsoldered the broken one and soldered the working one in it's place.

Sweet, glad it's sorted.

Hi! What were the specifications of the reed switch you used, or can I use any reed switch? I also need one for an RB2 guitar. Thanks!
