*koff koff* *gag* UUUhhhhhggggg..... I don't want to be "one of those people", but NOOOOOOO!!!! Counting Crows are the crowning achievement of crap rock. "Lwrawrrrrrnnng Duh-cemeb-urrrrrrrr..." HOR-REN-DOUS!!!!! The Spin Doctors, ehh... They had that one hit, Two Princes, but I don't see why that would be a good song to play. I'm sorry to offend, but I LOATHE Counting Crows with a passion. They totally ruined that great song by Joni Mitchell, Big Yellow Taxi ... That dude is a Mush-mouthed talentless hack!! Thank GOD they didn't put them in the final setlist. Whew!

Different strokes for different folks I suppose, I think Counting Crows is an amazing band and very talented. I can't stand some of the bands that seem to be popular on this board ie: Metallica, or any of the heavy metal stuff. I am sure I probably wouldn't care for every artist that you prefer but lets just agree to disagree on that one. (Although I think you are guilty of quite a bit of hyperbole)

AS far as Big Yellow Taxi is concerned: any act following in the steps of Joni Mitchell is asking for trouble (what a siren! Second only to Carol King in my favorite female artist) but I like the cover regardless.

Have you listened to Two Princes lately? The scat on the vocals, the natural fills on the rocking drums, the underlying bass track, the solo on the guitar? Really? You can't see it? Here is the refresher.
