need help on game just got i can't figure out micraphone

hey i really need help i've read the manual front to back. I was just wondering how u set up the mic. cause when i wanna do multiplayer it just says connect controller.:confused:

Connect your controller.

You have to have the mic plugged into the usb port. Then use an Xbox 360 controller or a PS3 controller or a PS2 controller and log in. You control the game with the controller, you sing with the microphone.

You obviously didn't read the manual front to back, I read the first few pages and it tells you you need a 360 controller plugged in to use the mic
