This is getting annoying..

Every now and again, my computer plays 'phantom sounds'. (Even when nothing's running) Usualy it plays a few seconds of an ad or song that's played through my soundcard recently, but now its full blown ads, songs, youtube vids, you name it. I think it may be a problem with adobe and youtube.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

That's definitely a strange problem. I would run both spyware and anti-virus software to see if there are problems. Also if you're using IE, don't.

I don't think it's a virus. It may be a buggy soundcard driver or a problem with my Adobe flash player.

Try reinstalling both or getting an updated driver version of your soundcard (if there is one)
