The guy had one of the (if not THE) best voices ever in Rock. He didn't flaunt his preferences all over the place like Elton John or George Michael. He's not going to sleep with me so I could care less if he is or isn't!

If you take that attitude with music you won't be listening to too much music. Production, Recording Companies, Bands...all have those pesky *** people in them. Time to take the blinders off and accept people for who they are.

I actually did a Queen ipod binge the other day in terms of rock band and decided the first three-pack should be: (taking into account popularity, anticipated enjoyability to play etc.)

Bohemian Rhapsody - The most requested Rock Band song has to be in the pack, although I don't think it's as good for the game as others. The vocals would obviously be fun throughout, but the other instruments would have many down moments, as well as some key phenominal moments. That said, it's Bohemian Rhapsody and everyone would download it.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love - At just under three minutes, this would be a great little diddy for Rock Band. It's also well-known, simple and has tons of musical shifts and changes that would be fun to play with a group.

Fat Bottom Girls - Although I don't think this would be the best choice, I'd prefer Don't Stop Me Now or even the repetitiveness that would be Another One Bites the Dust, when listening to Fat Bottom Girls, I can so easily picture the animantion and scrolling notes. It just sounds like a song in Rock Band.

That's my guess, which if the Bowie or Police packs have taught me anything, means absolutely nothing.

Yeah, it seems that the most popular songs/ best known songs are not the ones they get rights to put into the game. I wonder why that is... The song owners wanting to "preserve" their best material? For me personally, I have more respect and admiration for the musicians when I see their music on the game! And I have learned to love songs I never knew or appreciated before. Maybe some of the people who have rights to the songs will see that as these games get bigger and bigger, and we will see more major tunes!

I want bohemian rhapsody very much. I like all of their songs but that would be beyond epic. My boyfriend asked me how the vocals went and I proceded to belt out the vocals very loudly until a decision was made that the song would be much fun.

And Freddie was the only out and proud *** man, as I recall. I had a crush on him once when I was a preteen. Until I found out he was *** and dead. Now I just love his music :)

Agreed that we need Queen, on one condition: that Harmonix doesn't do what they did with Killer Queen (and Carry on Wayward Son, for that matter...), and turn the piano part into a guitar part. That bugged me a lot in both of those songs, because I'd rather play the song as I know it, even if that means I have less to actually play.

Good on you for mentioning FBG. To my mind, it's the perfect Queen song for Rock Band. It's fun to sing along to, and it's got a really solid mix of stomping guitar. In addition, it's a raunchy sounding, foot stomping song, which fills a niche that the game has left largely empty.
