Back on Labor Day, I went up to the Paradise Club in Boston and dealt with the long drive, tolls, parallel parking, and insanity that was the city of Boston. It was a GREAT show and a great experience, and was hoping to catch them again in concert.
Well, just a few minutes ago I was able to get a ticket to see them live at Foxwoods this coming March. :D Sadly, I was only able to get ONE ticket before their system told me that no more were available, but I am happy to be going. Hopefully they release more tickets for this show so that my friends can go and see the concert too. It's going to be a pain having to wait until March, and it better f-ing not snow!

Should I go make a topic about how I am going to see Lamb Of God and DevilDriver again this year?
No.
But congratulations anyway, AIC are a fantastic band.

I saw AIC on the Tonight Show. They sucked. I don't remember them sucking back when Layne Staley did vocals.

Yeah, the show up in Paradise was awesome. I also love listening to all the music snob ass-holes say "They sucked, they were only better when Layne was the singer." For some reason, I just laugh out loud when I hear the ignorant, self-centered snobs try and sound like they are music experts, but instead they come across as complete ******s. It's great. :p
It kind of sucks that it's in a seated arena like the MGM at Foxwoods as that takes some of the interactive energy out of it, but I'll handle that for a ticket that was only $55 and for not having to drive over an hour to get to the arena.
Saw them in Toronto a couple months ago. Loved the show and had a blast!

Nice! You from around the Foxwoods area too, or are you coming from a distance?

I'm coming with my cousins, I'm from NC. AIC's coming to NC, but I was invited to come watch it with my family... So yeah.

Very nice. Foxwoods is a pretty fun place to be, so I hope you get the chance to see the casino itself. (If you're 21 or over, of course). I plan on getting there quite early and probably catching dinner at the Asian restaurant which is in the same building as the MGM Grand Arena. Depending on how "imbibed" I get, I may end up getting a room there for the night. It's generally pretty easy to find a hotel room at the casino without having to mortgage your house if you look for the right deal.

I saw a youtube video of someone singing "Check My Brain" on Rock Band. I thought their voice was horribly annoying. Then I saw AIC sing the same song on the Tonight Show and thought, wow, the Rock Band player sounded better. I don't remember who it was, but the player FCd it on expert, and apparently rocks. Go him.
