I was sad to discover today that Eric Woolfson, co-founder of The Alan Parsons Project, had passed away on December 2.
Since there have been several in memoriam threads for musicians in the past on these forums, I think it would be a crime not to give this fantastic singer and songwriter his due. I've always really enjoyed his work with TAPP, and his solo project Freudiana is one of my top 25 favorite albums of all time.
RIP Eric, thanks for all the good tunes, like this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1IXQ1pKl_Q), which seems oddly appropriate now.

Man Lex, finally a band we agree on. APP use to be one of my most played bands as a kid.
Rip Eric.

I can't tell you why, but I think "Old and Wise" is one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. RIP.

I thought I'd pick a song with Woolfson on vocals that most people would have heard at least once.

My dad loved this guy! Oddly, Dec. 2 is my Dad's B-Day. Can you say, Worst Birthday Present Ever?
