whats that one song that really seemed to put everything in a new perspective for you? you know, the one that you listen to and never get over. the one that really hits home.

Whatever by Husker Du is my favorite song of all time, and Sixteen Blue by the Replacements also hits home.

Also, this belongs in HoR, though I won't make a big deal about it. People seemed to be scared of it for no reason...

Everything by Lifehouse. Especially when the skit is done with it.

Its because of the rediculous amount of hate and flame wars in that subforum.

Its not scary, its just annoying seeing someone proclaim out loud that their musical tastes are better than yours in every single goddamn topic.

Yeah, because that's exactly what we do.

I'm not even going to bother with this anymore.

Delirium Trigger (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NItTBfA_BM) by Coheed and Cambria provokes emotions out of me unlike any other song.most of the reason is because of the buildup of energy throughout the whole song that just explodes in the last minute of the song.

Hall of Mirrors - The Distillers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBqf6RnufB4)

An amazing song which perfectly captures that hell-hath-no-fury vibe.

I like "Colorblind" too.

However, a song that always gives me goose bumps is "4th of July" by Soundgarden.

Or "Heroin, She Said" by Wolfsheim.

I'm not saying your in particular do it, but there are a few people who frequent it that act better than everyone else. Those people are the reason.

Anyways, Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls gets me. It brings back a lot of old memories.

Only if you guys are like idiots.

We're always up for good discussion about music and if we get annoyed, it's because someone's acting like a blatant ass or making random sweeping generalizations.

Hell yeah. I love that song. I love Brody's voice in general but that song in particular just really shines. (I've requested the song countless times for RB.) Great call.

I have to add that Juliette Lewis's performance of "I can hardly wait" hits an emotional chord pretty well. Of course it also had the full mutlimedia experience as it included the acting of Ralph Fiennes and the direction of Kathryn Bigelow in "Strange Days".

Just do what I do, remember a few lyrics from the song and then type it in google later.

I will as soon as I remember any of it. It's been a while. I hope I can though, because I need to buy everything the band ever recorded :p

"She's like Heroin" By System of a Down(although I am not a big fan that I once was) evokes a certain mood from me that any other song can't. It's just an eerie song, Darons "Helium" singing and the chord progression plays a part too.
