Just got the game (FINALLLYYYYY) and I have one of the new Canadian bundles manufactured on Nov. 22. I was just wondering if it's normal that the strum bar on my guitar started out pretty decent, but got progressively less resistance to it until now where it only really has any resistance and registers on the very top or bottom... in the middle it's kind of semi-loose.
Do I have a faulty guitar? Does this mean it'll break soon? The thing feels horribly flimsy.

yay for you that you got it! I still have to wait cuz stupid shipping takes forever ~.~; Guaranteed by christmas my ass!
Anyway, chances are that the guitar will die on you sooner or later =P I would ask for a replacement just in case it breaks, and send in yours.

Anyone know how long it takes for replacement guitars to ship in Canada?

Since they currently aren't taking guitars from Canada for replacement, no one really knows. :( I just hope they start accepting us soon.. cause I have the same problem with it being slow to return to the center strum position.

Mine's like that out of the box. I'm not sure if it's broke or GH 3 compeltly ****ed up my timing (half way through expert with hyperspeed on 3 or 4) but I failed the tutorial soooo...yea,something's wrong somewhere.

Well, if you are comfortable doing it...open it up and see what version you have.
I've had three different types; a)the clicker type(horrible, and MUST have been a demo model [i bought off ebay]), b)the metal type with the tabs(from original box set), c) magnet type(both replacement guitars have been like this. I kept one but sent the other one back keeping my original after i modded it).
Anyway, there were some pics on here somewhere showing the little tabs PERFECT for two tiny rubberbands, loop them on the tabs and the strummer stays centered and FEELS better.
Sorry, too lazy to find them atm...

My guitar registers as double strums on down strums. I'm guessing that's not how it is suppose to be. I just barely tap it sometimes and I get two strums in the game, crazy. I guess I'll up-strum until I can get a new one.

So I'm planning on buying RB Wednesday or Thursday do you think it'll have the same problems as the RB's that are having problems?

How come the option is there on the warranty site then?

Don't really feel like reading through the entire 50 page Peripheral problems thread. Sorry.
