View Full Version : "Twilight" producers to expand their vampire empire...

And here we go...

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Summit Entertainment, the producers of the Twilight films, are looking to expand their vampire empire. The company will partner with Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment to produce a film on Vlad The Impaler. Actor Charlie Hunnam has written a script for Vlad, and director and photographer Anthony Mandler has been approached to direct the project. As of now, there are no cast or plot details.

I can't help but laugh if they mix up the scripts and the movie ends in a fight between Vlad and his archenemy, a werewolf

I get the feeling this will actually be VERY different from the Twilight Saga. They probably see that there's a group out there that hates those films, so they make this as well to market towards people turned off by Twilight's teen drama flavor.

I think this will be balls to the wall.

Maybe, but only if the first few seconds of the movie I get to see hundreds of people skewed outside his castle's walls.

Charlie Hunman? As in, once played a young gay man and now plays a big burly biker Charlie Hunman? Didn't know he was into writing.

I'm keeping an open mind... maybe they can do something with a story that's actually a vampire story and not a romance with vampires thrown in it. :D

I'd rather see the story that leads up to that, but I guess they could do flashbacks.
