For those of you, who have had their guitar replaced, i was wondering how the new ones are doing. My strum bar broke after about 6 hours of play time, it got to the point where i can't strum the notes anymore. So how are the new ones holding up?

My first new one had a problem with the Overdrive tilt mechanism, so I sent away for a replacement almost immediately, but I think it might actually have been impatience on my part: the tilt mechanism doesn't like to be snapped quickly to another position--I used to go from horizontal to vertical very quickly with my Guitar Hero controllers, but the RB controller seems to work better if you tip it about 30 or 45 degrees a bit more slowly.
Apart from that problem--which admittedly might have been my fault--the controllers I've had have been excellent.

My first replacement had really bad, clackety buttons, especially the blue and orange ones; and oversensitive overdrive. The second replacement has been solid so far. It's been about a week.

I had to get a replacement and it just came in today (Cristmas Eve). So far it seems very solid, unlike my original one. Know what I mean?

I've had two replacements...even sent back one of the replacements. Each and everyone of the guitars i've had (four total) have had crappy tilt sensors. They would just go off as soon as you had half filled bar [BOOM--->overdrive].
So, I've sent two back for that reason and finally decided to just disable the tilt sensor and wire in a foot pedal to activate overdrive. Rock solid since that on BOTH!

I'm supposed to be playing Rock Band tonight. Anybody knows when do I have to tilt my guitar to get the overdrive thing? In other words, can anybody explain that? Sorry, this is the first time that I heard about this :)

when you get the overdrive bar filled half way or more just tilt the guitar up and it puts you in overdrive. this doubles your multiplier and makes your rock meter go up.

I find that with mine, if I start the tilt around half a second before I want it to go off, I generally get it to go exactly when I want.

so far mine has been working fine - considering we just had 1 huge party w/ everyone taking turns on the guitar it's still feeling great! however, i do have to tilt forward and then up to activate the overdrive!
