I prefer manuel. Closer shave, satisfying, better overall.

EDIT: Man, I can't spell, can I?

Both, depending on the situation.

Razor only, but I also shave my head... Electric yanks too many hairs, unless choose you shave every day! Skip a day, and OW!

(FYI "Manuel" is the name of the guy who served me tacos, "Manual" is the word you are looking for.)

LOL @ "manuel." :p

I use a blade, then an electric to touch up around my lips and such.

I mix it up. When keeping the beard, I keep it neat and trim with an electric shaver. Under the neck I tend to use a razor.

I prefer manual, but I've been using an electric for some time now. But I hate shaving. I'd rather keep my beard, but my school isn't too big on people having beards.

Try having a beard and long hair. It's amusing to see a clerk follow you around Walmart all the time. :D

Electric, because I'm lazy and uncoordinated. I've managed to cut myself even with that though.

Joey-Z

I go to the barber.

I got mine shaven by an old timer with a classic shaving blade.
One of the most unnerving experiences I've had.

Oscar-Rio

I have both, but i don't normally use manual. I mostly just use a trimmer anyways as I don't usually go clean shaven.

Now the question is Do you use shaving cream or shaving gel?

I use cream. Gel is too thick for me and i get cut more often.

Real men do it manually. With a knife. And no shaving cream. Don't even mention aftershave, what do you think this is, Europe?

Real men use a blowtorch to burn off their facial hair and then rub on a lemon-saline solution to smooth it out.

12-10-2009, 12:37 AM
Manual straight razor, with shaving gel. None of this sissyboy electric stuff for me! I used to not even use cream or gel before I realized shaving didn't HAVE to be painful. I was a man back then

But back to the topic at hand, I use sandpaper and my cat's tongue

topperharley
12-10-2009, 12:48 AM
If I'm shaving every day, I use an electric. If I've skipped a couple days, I use a blade, so I'm not yanking hairs. When I blade shave, I use Edge gel. Gilette Foamy is crap.

I got mine shaven by an old timer with a classic shaving blade. One of the most unnerving experiences I've had.

The barber I went to at law school used a straight razor to clean up my sideburns and the back of my neck. A little unnerving, as you say, but a damn close shave.

Manual

And I use shaving creme too.

nigelle
12-11-2009, 08:32 AM
I used to save with trimmer but now it becomes fault, hence I am only using scissor to trim my beard. I am not using razor, this may cause hardness to the hair of my beard.

12-11-2009, 09:55 AM
I don't have a buddy named Manuel so I can't shave like that.

I don't like electric shavers since the ones I've tried don't seem to get as close as the 3-5 razor blade ones do.

I shave like once every 3-4 days because of laziness, unless I have a presentation. I have crappy facial hair and if I tried to grow a beard, it would look like Sidney Crosby's (terrible and patchy).

bood-boy
12-11-2009, 12:31 PM
yeah, takes me too long to shave, id be standing there for 3 minutes with hot water running so its not feasible for me. i only get so much hot water. i rarely take everything off my face so i have to do some manuevering. and its not very bright in my shower but its bright by the mirror.

i only shave once a week but it gets pretty rough looking. every monday morning. im rugged tho.

No, but my neck is pretty much hair free.

I can't grow a full beard either because it doesn't come in on my cheeks or in two spots below my mouth. However, I use both manual and electric. Electric to trim, manual to completely remove.
