Just curious on people's thoughts about Hogan joining TNA and the LIVE Impact on Jan 4 to go Head To Head with WWE. The first head to head WWE Monday Night Television battle since 2001.

Paul Hogan will be great in TNA, mate.
His catch phrase can be, "That ain't wrestelin... this is wrestelin"

Exciting and can't wait to laugh along with it. Should make for a great chuckle while it lasts. :D

This lasts for two weeks, tops.

One week actually, there isn't a planned second week. Of course if it does well, it'll probably become a permanent thing at a later date but that seems very unlikely.
Have to say, if I was in the position to watch either, I'd go with TNA, for curiousity sake alone.

LOL. As much as I despise WWE they have the power, and I just don't know if TNA can turn it around in a week ya know. It will takes months before they get remotely close. They'll never get as big as WWE, but they can get close one step at a time

You all do know he's just going to be a booker, right? He's not going to be doing the leg drop on a weekly basis or anything. (I don't think he can anymore, his hips are so bad) Sorta how J-E-Double F Jarrett and Mick Foley are now.
I'll skip that show and wait until TNA and Raw start the real Monday night wars. This upcoming one won't be interesting with football on at the same time...

Apparently Hulk Hogan is in REAL bad shape after his Hulkamania Tour.
I'm going to file this as not a problem to WWE. Wrestling fans haven't cared about Hulk Hogan since he was on Smackdown as Mr America.

That Hogan is a funny guy, and it'll just get funnier in the next couple months. :p

Andre The Giant was also 750 pounds when Hogan bodyslammed him in front of 100,000 people at Wrestlemania 3!

They won't sell. The Carter's (owners of TNA) are on par with McMahon's money if not a little higher, and they're backed by their company Panda Energy. They'll only sell it when their bored with it or tired of sinking money into it, not because they went bankrupt.

I thought he had a pretty good response with his Muhammed Hassan storyline a few years ago? I thought it was great...then they really bled it out to much.
