For the money they saved on Jose Valverde not coming back the Astros got Matt Lindstrom, Brandon Lyon, and Pedro Feliz. That is being smart with the money.

Nice pickups for the Astros. Trying to become another playoff contender again I see, unfortunately, they play in a tough division with the Cardinals, Cubs, and Brewers.

feliz is a bottom tier 3rd baseman. lyon should benefit from getting outta the AL and lindstrom should step right into the closers role. with that said i think the 'stros will be in the bottom 3 of the NL central next season. along with the pirates and wait for it..........the cubs :eek: :D
