I don't know about you fellas but i feel we've been hoodwinked out of a good song for DLC on Wii and the PlayStation 3

It's been hyped that the song would be available months after it's exclusivity on the Xbox 360 but yet here we are and STILL no "All You Need Is Love" for Wii or the PS3

if HMX is reading this, PLEASE release the song for the Wii and PS3 and let us download this song free of charge as an apology for throwing Wii and PS3 owners of this great game under the bus regaurding this timeless song

It's a mystery. Most signs point to Magical Mystery Tour being the next DLC album, but we won't know a thing until HMX says so.

Also I believe there's already a thread for this.

That's your answer right there. You're lucky it's only a limited time exclusive, unlike a lot of other games.

Why would they let us DL it for free, because M$ has a crap-ton of money to throw at developers? What I'm wondering is if the proceeds for All You Need Is Love are still gonna go to Doctors Without Borders.

EDIT(With breaks between sentences for your reading pleasure):
Also, consider this. Gaming is a business, and what do you need to keep a business afloat? Revenue. We can assume that the money M$ gave HMX either went towards future projects (IE: DLC) or to Doctors Without Borders as well.
If it's the former than with the money M$ gave HMX to make All You Need Is Love exclusive for a short time, it's probably gone towards album DLC. Maybe with the money they got HMX was able to complete the MMT album.
We've all heard that Beatle DLC is pricey to make, so making a song exclusive for a few months seems a small price to pay for more DLC.

None of this is confirmed, it's just my wild speculation, I could be dead wrong. That was just my two cents

It's not a matter of "give us the song already" - it's a matter of "when is the song coming". We all know the exclusivity is timed, but the lack of an official announcement is off-putting.

Incidentally, I was hoping they'd release more individual songs (singles or otherwise) for download at certain intervals as opposed to this "one album per month" treatment... well, let's hope the DLC downloads these first three months prove it to be worth it and make some great songs available at some point.

I wouldn't mind some Magical Mystery Touring, myself. Want Strawberry Fields Forever so much.

The exclusivity does not mean all you need is love is going to be immediately released. Nobody ever guaranteed it to be released. You're acting as if it was promised to be released after the exclusivity ran out and it wasn't. In time it will be available.

They could just be saving it for next year, since everyone's mostly focused on Christmas shopping and such right now.

That would be my guess.

What is the point of having a 3-month exclusivity deal if the "exclusivity" will continue for several more weeks? As much as I love the game, I do not like how Harmonix keeps people in the dark until 3-4 days ahead of time. Microsoft bought 3 months of private DL for "All You Need is Love." That time is up and the song should be available for the other systems now. Whether promised or not, it was implied that PS3 and Wii users would be able to have the song when the Exclusivity deal with MS expired.

There is a difference, Harmonix, between building anticipation and building frustration and aggravation. A lot of PS3 and Wii users have moved beyond anticipation and into frustration.

Well, in the case of the PS3 there's the fact the PSN officially updated on the 9th (regardless of when it showed up), which means it was a day too early. I've no reasonable excuse for the Wii, regardless let's see next week.

I have a question. Was it ever confirmed by HMX that it was exclusive for three months? Where are people getting this info from?

Here (http://playstationlifestyle.net/2009/08/26/the-beatles-rock-band-dlc-not-so-xbox-exclusive/) you can see that it was a limited exclusivity. If they release it next month with perhaps Magical Mystery Tour that would be great. But I'd sure like to know THIS month if that is going to happen.

So would I... I hope they're not going to decide on the basis of holiday sales. Anyhow, here's the probable source of the 3 month speculation.

Notice how the exact quote is "a limited exclusive, 3 months I believe or so."

Yeah, even at the E3 conference it was specifically mentioned "limited exclusive".

OK, guys...

NEVER was it confirmed, or even implied, by any official announcment or Harmonix employee, that the exclusive time would be three months. People here on the forums spread that rumor since both the Ten bonus tracks and the Unplugged tracks had a 3 month exclusivity window. However, it's a trend that has been proven false by the Country Track Pack exclusive songs, which have been exclusive for 4 months and still going. It's also gonna be proven false, apparently, by All You Need Is Love. In short, we only know that it'll come EVENTUALLY to Wii and PS3, and NEVER was it stated that it would be December.

On the other hand, the sense of entitlement here is sickening. "We deserve the song they worked so hard on for free because they released it even one day after our imaginary deadline we arbitrarly put for them." Ugh

My guess is that Magical Mystery Tour will be the January album DLC (wasn't it mentioned somewhere in some article?), and with it All You Need Is Love will come to the other consoles. And at least on the PS3, it will probably turn out slightly better price-wise, what with the album discount and such.

Just be patient, guys. You'll get it eventually.

This would make sense if MMT is coming out next month. Those with the Xbox would only have to download all the other songs for the full album whereas the rest of us would have it included on the whole album. I for one am willing to wait for it, if MMT will be coming out soon.

Paaaaaaaatience, CyberKFox! :) With Rubber Soul coming in just a couple of days, I'm actually glad AYNIL is still unannounced...We can enjoy the incredible new tracks and still be happy that at *least* one more song is on the horizon!

If the worst-case scenario happened (shudder) and RS was the last downloadable album for the game, I'd rather have AYNIL be the final available song than "Run For Your Life."

P.S. Your avatar rocks, and so did that show.

Why no?

It might be correct, that we will see Magical, next month.
