View Full Version : NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My bass pedal snapped D: (Story inside)
WTF
I played all 4 of the new DLC songs I got on guitar once and then tried "Move along" on hard cause there was this weird part I didn't remember being in the song so I wanted to play it again to hear what it actually sounded like
(100% "Attack" on Expert guitar on 1st try EVER) lol
Anyway then I went to play all the new songs on drums on hard
I played all of them and decided to do "Dirty little secret" a 2nd time since I liked it so much (All 4 new songs have fun drums btw but mostly the all american reject ones)
AND THEN IT HAPPENED D: within like the 1st minute of playing dirty little secret on hard drums for the 2nd time ever... THE PEDAL SNAPPED!!!! D:
So I tried taping it back together , FAILED
Then I tried hot glue gun w/o giving it much time to dry , FAILED again
AND THEN! I decided to hot glue the living **** out of it and leave it sitting on the counter to dry untill I wake up or whatever... I hope it works but it probably won't D:
I guess I gotta send it off to the factory DAMMIT >:O
The drums are like the best part of the new DLC too D:
I guess I'm gonna go fill out the freakin thingy to get it replaced... and they BETTER still replace bass pedals cause they don't sell that crap seperately in the store >:O
I just filled out the replacement form thingy and all
The only 2 options were 1.Faulty drum pedal and 2.Broken spring
In my case its neither one , the plastic under where your heel goes just snapped in half horizontally
I figure they can just slap a new pedal in the box and mail it right? They aren't gonna be all technical about what they forced me to say what was wrong with it

Sounds like it's pretty close to option 1 if it broke after limited use. Try that, the support system seems like it's doing its best to take care of people.

I just went with the broken spring option cause I guess technically thats closer to it since its like.... completely physically broken
I just went to check on the pedal and I pressed on it with both hands a couple times and then used my foot on it on the floor and it SEEMS like my hot glue gun fix is gonna be sufficient but
I guess when the box shows up at the door I'm still probably gonna stuff it in the box and ship it off for a new one

Just glue might not hold it over time. You might want to splint the (weak as hell) plastic with a stronger substance.
