That's a pretty kick-ass list there. You should listen to Lordi. They can fill those spots up nicely.

This is my ideal set-list including some of the songs that harmonix has already confirmed...the blank spots mean i couldnt think of any band or song to fit...

wow, if that was the setlist i would NOT buy this game.

too much hippy rock, hair bands, and main stream crap.

sides, wheres the megadeth?

i actually have listened to lordi...i have like 5 of their albums on my itunes library...so...believe me i know who they are and what they sound like...i just dont like them enough to ask for them to be added to rock band...i get that your all about lordi though, and that's cool...

what do you think 70's and 80's rock was? it was hippy metal/rock...besides harmonix isnt just going for modern bands...i understand that megadeth is 80's but i've had enough of them in the guitar hero series...

I like Clearwater but oh how I hate Dylan. And I know I'm gonna feel flames for saying that. And Clapton twice? I didn't like Ozzy twice in GH.

If you're gonna have Clearwater why not the Allman Brothers? Reverend Horton Heat?

Oh and Lordi really should be there.

Overall descent but just missing some kind of pizazz.

Listen to Reverend Horton Heat's Party in Your Head or Galaxy 500 and tell me they shouldn't be somewhere on Rock Band! I need Heat in Rock Band!

Oh and Joan Jett's Bad Reputation for the 80s somewhere. And In the Garden by Dolores O'Riordan for 00s. We need female vocals.

I agree with the guy that said that Clapton twice is bad. Swap th 70's one out for a Pink Floyd song, Have A Cigar might be good.

Clapton was the frontman of Cream.

All of the Wall, one of the most classic albums of all time.
Dark Side of the moon, the whole album as well.
Piper at the gates of dawn is more trippier stuff.
Wish you were here is a great album too.

YES! The entire Wall album would be friggin' awesome to be able to play!! Especially the song at the very end, The Trial... More for the fun operatic vocals than any guitar or drum playing.

Also, why is Alice Cooper in the 2000's? Feed my frankenstien and Poison came out in the early 90's didn't they?

I really hope they put some epic concept album in the game.. The wall would be wicked, ultra hard and missing instruments in a lot of the songs, but wicked.

DSOTM would be cool... What about sgt peppers

Hey lambofgod1, don't let the post title fool you, that's not a bad set list you put together, just have a couple small corrections on timelines and a few additions of my own:

1.) Feed My Frankenstein was released in 1991 on Hey Stoopid
2.) Poison was released in 1989 on Trash
3.) Big City Nights was released in 1984 on Love at First Sting

Don't feel bad, only reason I know that is because I recall listening to those on my walkman while still in HS. Also, I believe there were some compilations released by AC a few years back that coincide with the times you had in mind that did indeed include these tracks.

Now for additions:

Ok, last minute I changed my mind. Although your list could use some filling out from the corrections and a couple holes, I've decided I'm gonna come up with my own list this evening and post it myself. As you can tell I'm new to the forums, so I'm not sure if I can edit posts, but if so, I'll post a link to my thread here for your perusal.

Oh and good work. If your avatar is indeed you, you've got quite the rock history for someone your age!!

I would have, but Power of Love "is just too darn loud."

...God I'm a geek.

Seriously though, I would love to see Huey Lewis & the News songs on there. I hope I can be pacified by being given just one.

As a side note, the Marty McFly version of Johnny B. Goode would be great as a bonus song on GH, but this isn't the place to suggest it.
