I wish there was a way for sorting out online players by the amount DLC they have. I have all but about 3 of them and I understand not everyone wants to buy that much DLC but it sucks to get in an online band time after time and noone has any of the DLC.

Try to form a group on here. A majority of people (including myself) have bought most of the DLC.

how bout just a 'matchmaking' to go by song: so you pick the song(s) you wanna play and then it matches you up with others who want to play that same song; it would eliminate that whole 'problem' of being stuck with people who aren't picking the songs you can/want to play.
this would also cover dlc, as those without the song in question obviously wouldn't be matched for ya.

That's going to become more and more difficult as DLC continues to be released.
Once all players have 150 or more tracks--all picked from various parts of the DLC--it's going to become impossible to make matches easily.
You're better off meeting people through some third party site or even right here.
Heck, now that I'm thinking about it, I should go to my profile and add a section for DLC that I have so other people can see it easily and contact me.
EDIT: I couldn't fit my DLC into my "About Me" section, so I added it as a blog that I'll keep updated.
Feel free to steal my idea (which is hardly original). It'll make hooking up with people online a whole lot easier.

it would be nifty if this site's tie-in with our game bands could read and list the dlc we have automatically..

That would be great: add an extra tab to the profile.
Heck, even if they made it a manual checklist it would be better than what we have.

That'd be great. I could avoid the Metallica DLC and never have to listen to an unintelligible metal-head again! :D
