View Full Version : Should I get my drum set replaced...again?

Ok I got my first drum set not too long ago..and there was this problem with the blue, and sometimes yellow/green pads.

I would hit the pads and it would count the note hit, then it would immediately break my streak after it counted the hit, as if it was hitting twice really fast for every time that I hit it once. It doesn't always do this, but it does it enough to hinder me from getting 5 stars since I can't keep a steady streak going. Also, I know that I'm not actually just missing the notes, because I still get 100% notes hit on expert at the end of the song.

I just got my first replacement in, and the problem is still there, but not as frequent. Should I send it in again and hope that the new, new one works, or do you think I'm doing something wrong? I've been playing on expert since RB1, and have never had this problem until I got my first wireless drum set.

Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

It could be interference. Make sure you don't have other wireless devices, especially phones, extremely close to your drums or console and try to not have them in between the drums and console as well. Also check everything in practice mode to see if you can hear a double hit or anything. If it is indeed double hitting you can search google/youtube to find a solution or send it in for another replacement.
