First Day and guitar wont turn on

Ok, i got RockBand for the PS3 this x-mas, it went fine the guitar was fine until we wanted to play, now it doesnt turn on , the batteries are fine, anyone knows whats up?

Easy questions ....

1) ...... did you turn the switch on ?

2) ...... the guitar has a sleep mode ..... try pushing the PS button below the wammy bar.

3) ..... try hitting the button on the dongle and the little button where a cord would plug into a real guitar.

That's all I can think of right now.

yeah, same problem here. Guitar won't power up. Can't get onto warranty site either.

the guitar was fine until me and my bro wanted to play, it turned off and we couldnt turn it back on, we've tried everything,he is about to purchase some new batteries to see if that works.

is there any chance that the update had something to do with this problem?,

i mean it was fine but when the game fully started wouldnt turn on nor connect.

Doubt it. No update here. My problem is on the PS2. I didn't get the 360 version because I heard there were problems with THAT guitar.

my ps3 ver had an update just b4 the game started, b4 that the guitar was fine, then i couldnt get it to move anything then after switching it off it wouldnt turn back on.

cant believe it, for one sec i tought i didnt got any faulty merchandise and then the guitar stops working, is there any way to contact tech support via e-mail?, and how long do they take to replace items?.

I still cant believe its faulty because it worked for a second, im startin to think the update screwed it up.

I have the same problem with the guitar. The USB dongle LED light blinks but the guitar doesn't turn on I tried several times.
