Help with creating another character

Hey Merry Christmas everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me. I know that to create another rocker to play a different instrument you need to put it on another gamercard. My problem is that when i switch gamercards and try to make someone, they are still a vocalist like my original gamertag player is. Both the mic and the guitar are in the USB port along with 1 xbox controller, can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks in advance.

To create a musician for vocals you use the 360 controller. To create a bassist/guitarist, you have to use the guitar. To create a drummer, you have to use the drum set controls.

Also, you do not have to use a different gamer card for each character. I have a single gamer card and every character is created under there. Once you log in a single time you can get to all of the other characters in multiplayer and singleplayer.

Yep, what he said. In fact, I find it easier to keep all characters under 1 gamertag for ease of access.
