rock band for ps2 + guitar hero 2 guitar?

im sure this is answered somewhere, but all i see is ps3 and guitar hero 3 questions... anyway, i got rockband for ps2 and the white guitar hero wireless guitar that says its compatible with guitar hero and guitar hero II. just wondering if this would be compatible with rock band, or even if it was compatible with guitar hero III. The guy at best buy said it was so i dont know

also, if i have to take back the guitar and keep the rock band game, is there a way for me to buy instruments for rock band on the ps2 right now, or do they not come out seperately yet?

for the first part of the question from what i read only guitar hero 2 controllers work with rock band, not sure if wired or wireless matters. i do know the guitar hero 3 controller does not work for rock band so i would suspect the one you have wont. and yes your controller will work with guitar hero 3.

2nd part the do not come out separatly from what i know, they only have the bundle which comes with the game, mic, drums, and guitar
