Ok Ok I know for legal reasons most game makers shy from using user submitted ideas. However I'll keep my idea very vague and without detail because I'm sure HMX can do a better job of perfecting it.
Ever since GH1 people have been asking for a concert mode/gig mode where you can go through a whole playlist seamlessly just like a show. What I'm saying is maybe in RB2 make a live gig mode but not only give the ability to just string along 5-30 songs but give us some cool ass live schtick to do.
For instance one of the mainstays of live showboating is playing your three time platinum single at double time. Or why not the key legendary "pause the song in the middle of the 2nd chorus for effect." Anyways just a suggestion and I hope it was vague enough for you guys to be able to use it.

This is a great Idea!, although it probably wont be in the game, maybe if RB2 ever comes out

Unless RB gets slapped with some bogus lawsuit I guarantee it will.

haha I just relaized the unintended reference in my title. So now we need simulated heckling and bottles flying at the screen.

Honestly, who is to say a similar feature isn't in the game? I bet we'll see "concert" settings for multiple songs in a row. They just haven't announced it yet. I mean, playing individual songs isn't really what being in a rock band is about...

No one is to say but since it is as of right now unannouced I'm requesting it.

Thats a little complicated really, I mean atm weve got drums fills and such in the middle of songs, but thats a little too far in my opinion.
Maybe later but its not a requirement for the game and it would probably be more annoying online.
Nice effect for single player or online or something. Keep in mind though that doing "live schtick" is only fun when you are playing to an audience, you're playing to a game, you aint going to be getting any response to your little "moves".

well honestly me and my friends play guitar hero at parties all teh time and it's not uncommon to have a bunch of people hanging around while we're playing. but you have a valid point.

I could definately see this sort of mode as an aspect of band world tour mode. Where you and your band choose a setlist and perform a whole concert, that seems very reasonable to me, although you would have to set aside an hour or two, so I wouldn't expect it to be the main focus of band career mode. It would definately make this game even more of an accurate simulation of being in a rock band, and would be so cool.

Yeah man... It doesnt even matter if you have an audience, its fun to showboat. But i know that i'll be playing this game with more than enough for a small audience a lot of the time. Everybody loves GH and will love this one even more.
