So...

Sam Jackson as Nick Fury? And some chick who is Black Widow?

This seems more like the beginning of The Avengers than a straight up Iron Man movie.

One word: SUPER****INBADASS!

Jackson played Nick Fury in the scene after the credits of the first Iron Man and that's Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. Also, they want to make an Avengers movie. Haven't you seen the Incredible Hulk? They pretty much said "Hey! We wanna make an Avengers movie!" in the final scene.

Yep, they've been setting that stuff up since the first IM movie. I, for one, am really looking forward to them all.

Oh, and...

I think it was a bit weak... but I'll reserve my judgement til the movie comes out.

I wasn't too fond of the first film, which had a miscast Lebowski as the villain and only the awesomeness of Robert Downy Jr. to keep it afloat.

But a possible prelude to The Avengers movie? That could be cool.

"The Incredible Hulk" with Edward Norton? Nope, haven't seen it.

I've been cautious of jumping into another Hulk movie after that one with Eric Bana.

Yeeeeeah!

Any movie she's in, I usually rent.

On to the trailer, I can't watch it. I have QuickTime, but it keeps asking me to download when I click for the trailer!?

I'll check YouTube and get more coffee.

I really disagree with this. I thought Bridges was fantastic throughout the whole movie, especially in the scene where he's looming over an incapacitated Tony Stark. His only weak moment was his 'supervillain gloating' when he was in the Iron Monger suit at the end, but I blame that more on the material he was given than on his performance.

I had that issue as well. Try this one, it worked for me: http://iron-man-2-trailer.blogspot.com/

Haha, no matter how hard I tried, I could not take him seriously as a villain because I had seen The Big Lebowski a few weeks before :D

Ooooh don't use one to judge the other. They are two totally different animals. The Norton Hulk is so so much better.

Yeah I woo'd at War Machine too. I'd watch Robert Downey Jr open envelopes, so to combine comics and RDJr is just an overdose of awesome for me.

Thank you for the link. Much better than the YouTube one I watched this morning. I might have to behave better on the forums more often for your kindness. ;)

This movie is going to be another notch in the W column (which is lacking) for comic-to-film movies. :)

Marvel has stated (i believe, someone has) that most of the further Marvel movies will revolve around the Avengers (except for the Venom spinoff, and maybe Spiderman)

The Hulk's ending had to with Stark giving them a proposition, Iron Man ended with Nick Fury, and an inevitable Cap. America movie will seal the deal.

Im now just waiting for a Civil War movie series

Speaking of trailers, I have to say the trailers for Alice in Wonderland (http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/alice-in-wonderland/trailer)and Clash of the Titans (http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/clash-of-the-titans/feature-trailer)are looking good as well. Especially the latter is a pleasant surprise, although I have to admit that CG monsters somehow aren't as cool as Ray Harryhausen's stop-motion monsters in the original. That's kind of like how CG Godzilla wasn't nearly as cool as the original 'guy in a rubber suit'-approach, I guess.

Yes, but he's relatively makeup'd out in Sin City. He appears like he is in this film.

I expect to hear BANG YOUR HEAD when Whiplash makes his appearance.

It shouldn't be a big surprise that a superhero like Cap who's more or less supposed to be the paragon of a specific country isn't that popular in the rest of the world. I don't hate him myself, but I never found him very interesting either. He's as bland, moralizing and goody-two shoes as Superman, but he doesn't even have any cool powers.

The rest of the Avengers were always pretty cool, though. Thor, Vision, Hawkeye and Beast were always some of my favorites.

I agree that the Edward Norton Hulk was better and worth watching than the other horrible one. However, it wasn't great.

I didn't like the first Iron Man movie. The origin was interesting, but the villain story and especially just throwing in a big CGI battle at the end did not make an interesting story arc.

I was hoping this one would be better, but the villain in this one doesn't interest me at all.

He is Whiplash, but has "characteristics" of Crimson Dynamo.

This looks boody awesome. I'll be checking it out for sure.

Not sure how Cap America will translate into a big screen movie to be honest. The made for TV and straight to DVD ones were pretty funny though :p
