game not read!! help

i have rockband for ps2 and the game wont read, i checked everything.
its a ps2 game and its not my ps2 because my guitar hero 3 wrks fine. someone help

i'm having the exact same problem. ps2 and everything...i'm wondering if its because its an older verison of the ps2?
