Headset and guitar problem want to hear the voices only on the headset

Hi Guys,

I have a problem with the headset and the rock band guitar

When I'm in a party, and the xbox headset stuck to the guitar I hear the voices of my friends on the headset and the tv.

I want to hear the voices only on the headset.

When I plug in the headset to the xbox controller everything works as it should.

In the settings I have chosen that I want to hear the voices only on the headset.

Perhaps you have an idea. I would be very grateful.

Make sure the headset plug is all the way in to the guitar. If you're using one of the little adapters that let the old style clunky plugs (with the switch and volume control on the plug) fit into the guitar, then this is a common problem. You often have to force the headset plug into the adapter to make it click all the way on there.
