View Full Version : PS3 Drum Controller Keeps Pressing UP
Merry Christmas folks,
Just got my PS3/Rock Band today, and I was dismayed to find out that shortly after being able to successfully play a few songs, that my drum controller was causing the "up" button to be continuously pressed.
I don't believe its a pad, seeing as I still can get to a song and none of them are sticking or any such.
Is this a known issue? Are there any fixes anyone knows of? I'm at v1.93 I believe, not 2.10, and it would be a huge pain to update so I'd like to avoid that if I can, but is this possibly why I'm having issues?
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Thank you,
Robert "Kros" Cherry
Anyone? I want to make sure this isn't something easily fixable before I request for a new drum set.
Thanks in advance.

This isn't an issue I've ever seen. Call EA tech support, start from
support.ea.com/rockband.
Thanks for the replies. I suppose I'll go ahead and get it replaced.
One other thing to note though, that I found interesting, was that if I plugged the drum set into my PC, and viewed the input through the Game Controllers menu (Control Pannel -> Game Controllers), there was nothing sticking.
Bothers me, makes me think it has something to do with the PS3. Going to try and update to 2.10 tonight.
