I'm having trouble uploading songs though RB2's Audition Mode. My Xbox is connected to my computer's internet connection via Internet Connection Sharing, and my network sees the Xbox just fine...until I start up the game. When I start the game, my Xbox disappears from the network, and when I attempt to find my Xbox on Magma, it doesn't show up. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

I use Windows Vista Home Premium and Verizon Mobile Broadband for those who need to know.

Hey, this was posted by HMXMister_Game originally and is a list of things to try.

If you can get into Audition mode, but your PC can't find your Xbox, here are a few things to try.

1. You need to open port 3074 for UDP on your firewall. The installer should do that for you automatically.

2. You need to be on the same subnet as your Xbox. This is unlikely for most home users, unless you are connecting "accidentally" to your neighbor's WiFi hotspot, but we have found at least one case where setting a static IP address for the Xbox caused this problem.

3. You need to be on the Primary Network Interface of your PC. This means that bridging your connection from your PC to your Xbox will not work. (This could also happen if you had two network cards in your PC).

It's possible that a future update of Magma will allow bridged connections, but we don't have any estimate of when or if it will happen at this time.
