Microsoft Points card question(Code pattern Related)

hey, this is a full out noob question, although i am not one, i'm sorry.

I opened my microsoft points card box and scratched it so you can see the letters and numbers.

I can see every number and lette fine, up until the last two. They don't show up at all.

My question is, is how does the configuration of the XBL cards go, like pattern as far as number letter number letter, etc. for the 25 pin code?

L#L#L-#LLLL-LLLLL-##LLL-LLL??

Sorry for the very dumb question, i just want to figure this out to download some DLC

I'm not aware of a pattern. You might have to call MS to sort this out. It does suck though.

There isn't a pattern........I don't think.

Gonna have to get it replaced.......somehow

I scratched off the silver backing (took me 10 minutes to figure out you were supposed to!) and noticed that the letters underneath the silver paste are only on there barely stronger than the silver paste itself. I squinted at a few but I'm glad I was more careful as I did it. It would be easy to make it unreadable.

Took it back to the store after i called microsoft and they said to return it, it's all good now!
