I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, it sounds like you will need to get a new drum set. Also look around the forums, as there are several stopgap fixes that may let you play your drums until the new set reaches you.

Unfortunately, EA is sending out faulty warranty equipment too. So if you get a good set, you're simply lucky. Most sets are broken... you'll find out when you get to expert mode.
At the moment, I haven't seen the problem fixed.

Since when is the replacement equipment faulty? Mine and most on the original day purchase work perfectly... Don't spread your BS here please..
Maybe you should use the search feature at the top of the page.....

Search for "Drum fix". Just avoid anything that involves taking the drum heads off, if you plan to use the warranty repair, which I highly suggest.

thanks, i might try the penny one, but does it void my warrenty? cause how would they prove it if i am doing the express one?

Welcome to the world of Rockband. I don't think anyone has not had a issue with this game so far. I'm really suprised it hasn't been recalled yet, it's got to be costing EA and Harmonix a fortune on replacement items.

I technically didnt have an issue. A friend used the drums too hard, and cracked one, but thats not EA/Harmonixs fault. I bought a new set anyways, so didnt deal with TS. But still, i didnt have a prob.

They could know you opened the case when you send the drum back. I would try one of the tape mods, if necessary.

a) there are plenty of people with working RB equipment
b) a full-on recall would be MORE expensive than the current replacement plan.

Not sure why everyone is advocating not to take the drum head off. The drum heads are held on with rubber stoppers (if you turn it upside down, you can see them underneath).
Anyway, my yellow pad stopped working. I did the express warranty thing (gave the CC#), and I received an empty box. I wasn't going to wait another 2 weeks or more for the set to come back. So I took matters into my own hands.
I took the drum head off. I took a pencil, and used the eraser end to press against the rubber stoppers while pulling on the drum head from the front. I figured this wouldn't leave any marks.
I found there is a wire with a two prong plug on the end leading from the sensor on the drum head to a socket on the frame. The plug was out of the socket. I put the plug back in, snapped the drum head back on, and I was back in business.
If one drum isn't working, I'd check to see if the plug is out of the socket.

Sorry, I was a little pissed off when I wrote that. :D
I just got replacement drums and they suffer from the same problem: They don't register fast hits. I only play on Expert mode, so this is a problem.
This is now my 5th drum kit that isn't working. (First warranty replacement though... other ones were returned at the store to swap out.)
Oh and then what really pissed me off is my replacement drums were very USED already!

Really fool? A troll? You mean like you? Do you even own the game idiot? Speak when you can borrow the cash of your granny to buy the game. And you go troll elsewhere you idiotic moron, I can say what I want here and post all 72 contact messages from EA on why it took 3 weeks for a replacement item that was ordered on the 20th of November, when you pay my bills moron you can tell me what and when to say it, until then shut up. BTW that VH avatar can get you sued unless Eddie gave you permission to use it.

My green works fine, as does everything else. Excluding my red when I have to do constant hits on it(Such as Run To oThe Hills on Expert). That's what makes me fail if I do. Same with (Don't Fear)The Reaper.
