I'm new to this Rock Band thing. I just got it for Christmas for my 60G ps3 and hooked up the Mic first. Then the Guitar. When I plugged in the drums to all four of the usb ports seprately, I still couldn't get the drums to work. Do I need an extra hub or do I just need to re-configure my ps3? Please Help!!!

I have the same problem dude put the drums in the 1st slot from the left and the guitar in the 4th slot from the left and the mic in either of the other ones but i'd suggest the 3rd from the left. this is where i get stuck my ps3's usb curcuit doesn't support enough power to use all the insturments in rock band to bad :( that's why im getting a usb hub extrenally powered just for rock band tomorrow during boxing day i'd suggest you do the same thing ;)

Technically a AC powered USB hub is required, success with an unpowered hub will be spotty.

will an ac powered usb hub be required for all ps3 Rock Bands? I'm planning on buying it tomorrow and want to know if its necessary to pick that up as well. i also have a 60 gb ps3.
