sorry to make so many threads in one shot, been doing alot of listening lately and yesterday i sat and listened to the first 3 Satyricon cd's again.
Dark Medeival Times, The Shadowthrone, and Nemesis Divina. anyone out there listen to this band and whats your favorite of the 3. im curious to see the responses. mine is The Shadowthrone

i think ND was my favorite, though i'm honestly not a big fan overall. the previous two alright, but anything after is pretty rough.

Satryicon is pretty bad, at least in my opinion.

I've only heard Medieval Times. It's ok, nothing to write home about, especially when you take into account how awesome their contemporaries were (Darkthrone, Emperor, Ildjarn and Burzum for example)

Satyricon was decent and worth a listen, but they were a good step below the other 90's BM acts. As for the 00's BM acts, Satyricon just can't compete in any way, shape or form.
