silly me, of course also the lack of The Beatles is a crime, though I have completed most of their discography. still...
one of the few redeeming qualities about iTunes is that it has periodic specials where you can download albums for $5.99-$7.99, as opposed to the usual 9 or 12 dollar prices. really awesome way to pick up some albums you've been meaning to complete or get.

But it is kinda pointless to pay for the mp3s and not an acual solid copy of the album.

Who wants a solid copy of an album? Pfft.
That said, iTunes is my mortal enemy since I tried to legally download an impossible to find album, but my network cut out and iTunes merely deleted the fact that I had paid for the album from my downloads list, so I lost my money.

Agreed, I buy physical copies of albums every time, there's no point to me in just paying for the files without owning a solid copy of an album.

Just 2 shy of 50. :(
I got a total of 48 albums this year. If you don't want to count the 3-1 as 3, then it's only 46. But I'm counting the first 3 Anberlin albums as 3 separate albums all in one packaging. So therefore, I have 48.

Are you kidding me? 2009 was an excellent year! I guess it's because you purchased such awful albums, but that's still sad.

You mean awful albums for your taste. You have to remember that everyone has a different taste in music, and what you call awful and what I call awful are definitely different. You mostly don't like anything I listen to and I mostly don't like anything you listen to. I personally loved 4 of those albums on that list.

ja, admittedly so (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157514&page=111). better late than never.
I grew up listening to primarily jam band/festival music with doses of classic rock, oldies, and lots of other stuff. it's only been about 3 years since I've been exploring more into the indie scene. and if I may so, it's a big ass genre to explore. sorry if I'm still behind the curve, I guess
