Old gamertag question...

I have a 360 and just got rock band and started downloading content.

I have an old XBL gamertag that I don't use anymore, but was silly enough not to notice that it was the one I was logged into at work when I went to load it with more points to download content.

If I use the points on that (mostly) unused gamertag to buy songs, will I be able to play them when I am logged in on my current gamertag?

You can try the xbox to letting you use those downloads by having both gamertags signed in (2nd controller, whatnot). If you have other people over, just have them use that gamertag instead of being a guest.

I mostly play solo, so I was wondering mostly about that.

Just turn on another controller and sign it in to your old gamertag. You won't have to pick a player or anything for it, just sign in.

So you're saying the answer is no, I won't be able to play the songs purchased on the old gamertag if I am logged in on my current one, yes?
