Screen Shudder

I've just bought Lego Rock Band (Xbox) but while playing the game sometimes the notes shudder while scrolling down the screen. I've never seen this before on other games of this type. For example, Guitar Hero World Tour works fine on the same setup. I have tried it with both a Rock Band and Guitar Hero controllers just in case it was anything odd to do with the controllers.

The shuddering doesn't affect game play but it is quite annoying. I've gone through the calibration process and it all works fine in terms of timing.

Anyone seen this or got any ideas? TIA.[:)]

I remember reading a thread where the same thing would happen in The Beatles Rock Band game. It was discovered to have been a setting on the TV. Are you using a fancy HDTV? I think one of the "motion enhance" options was causing it.

Hi, thanks for replying. Yes I have a HDTV so I did as suggested and turned of the the motion stuff and it made it worse! Putting it to max seemed to make it better.

I have since switched it off again and gone through the calibration again but still no joy. :confused:

Hmm, sorry, I don't have any more ideas. I did manage to dig up these threads with people having the same issue, but their problems seemed to be restricted to The Beatles. Maybe you can find something helpful in one of these threads:
