When others here are getting the "can't strum in one direction on the guitar" is the d-pad also unable to move in that direction? mine is, I can't strum down or d-pad down

Odd, when my guitar failed I was still able to use the D-pad. Sounds like an electrical problem, rather than a physical problem.

The double-strum problem seemed to only happen with first revision guitars. If you get a replacement from EA it will be a new guitar. My replacement has had no problems.

that's good to hear. I have the double strum problem and hopefully a replacement will get to me soon and I will have no more issues.

Thats very good to hear. Just got the combo deal this morning and about 2 hours into the game the guitar started double strumming and the overdrive would kick on when ever it felt like it
