Have you tried calibrating the lag manually?

found the calibration option, ill give it a try, but it seemed to work find when i first started playing. played for 2 hrs, gave it a rest for 4-5 hrs and when i picked it up again is when i had the prob. hopefully the calibration works, if not any other suggestions? thanks for your time

This might be the double-strum issue that the early guitars had. Can you maintain a streak? In a pinch, you can use the d-pad up and down to play guitar while you wait for a replacement.

sometimes I can and sometimes I cant. I ve turned off consule and unplugged equip f/ USB ports as if to refresh(not sure if that does anything). I can sometimes get through 1 song fine sometimes after doing this and then the next song it goes back to notes getting cut off, long or short. Like I said i have the 60ps3, and it seemed to work fine playing solo and probs when playing w/ mic and drums in. May I need some type of powered USB adapter?

p.s. I am very ignorant to hardware and trouble shooting.:) so thanks for the understanding that you may be dealing with a dolt:D

Is there a difference with playing while strumming up and down? Perhaps try calibrating the lag using the drum or standard controller? You shouldn't need a powered hub if you only have RB peripherals plugged in, but I would try using one if you have it available. Do you have problems with any of the other instruments?

strumming up and down seems to work since i can scroll through game options using it. and my bro said drums werent working correctly while he played w/ me and another buddy doing the local multiplayer w/ mic. it may some type of lag issue im hoping. i havent messed w/ it and i have a 52" rear project tv thats like 8 yrs old. dont know if it is a settings thing but im gonna try that. any suggestions on what may best way to calibrate.? thanks and i REALLY appriciate it, being that I have only had this game less than 12hrs and its the only game my wife likes and plays. and thats a good thing cuz i can actually get the dust off my PS3.:D(never usually allowed to play, now I can cuz she is)

Just follow the calibration instructions, and hope you have a good ear. Otherwise add or subrtact time in about 20ms intervals and see if you get an improvement.
