DLC Issues

i bought a brand new XBOX 360 Elite and rockband 2(the whole bundle)
i got online and downloaded 14 songs off the marketplace. Now i can play about 5 of those songs, the other songs i cant play are in my playlists but when i pick them to play it goes to the loascreen and just stays there!?!?!? ive never owned an xbox before therefore i dont have any other profiles, its brand new hard drive too, so why wont the songs work? they are there but wont load

All i can say for now is try to delete and redownload them again after...Maybe the files got corrupted somehoh during the transfer.
