Signing Into XBox Live?? Any Advise?

So, this is weird...
I sign into XBox Live.
Go into Rock Band, Multiplayer, Player Match
It Says "Sign In" over my name... "Select <Green Button>"
So I hit the Green Button to sign in (again??)
Says, "In order to play on XBox Live, you need to be signed into an XBox live active profile." <Okay>
I choose my XBox Live profile
It signs in and then throws me right back into the Player Match window. :mad:

No matter how many times I repeat this it does the same thing.
Anyone have an idea what is going on? Or what I'm doing wrong?

Do you have gold, becuase if you have silver, you cant play online.
Otherwise i would be saying thatits your connection, either its weak or just disconnecting. Otherwise, I wouldn't know.
