in one of the boxes you get with the bundle (small box) there is a USB hub that you plug into the USB that has 4 more ports in it so you can run all of them at one time....maybe they didnt give ps3 one, but i highly doubt that because that would suck.

it would have been a small box, about 4x3 or so that said "PS3 USB hub". ~.~
I didn't notice a USB hub in my PS3 bundle. I ended up using a keyboard that had 2 USB inputs on it in place of the hub. Works the same way.

yeah i just ran through a video of one of those people that record the "unboxing" and i didnt see one in the ps3 bundle. i'm surprised it doesnt have that many USB ports on it in the first place....anyways, do what 181 says, should work perfectly

Yeah, the PS3 special edition does not include a USB hub. Mainly because only the 40gb models have 2 USB ports, whereas the 80gb has 4. So, it looks like your going to have to buy any old USB hub at Best Buy or some other electronics store.

Just to clarify as well. Any USB hub will work with the PS3.

I have the 60GB model and it has 4 USB ports on it, so no need for a hub. My cousin just bought a 40GB model and it only has 2 USB ports, why did Sony change that?

cuz the 40gb model is the bare bones version. they still want to sell 80gb versions and 4 usb ports is one of the "features" that they think will help justify a price tag of $100 more :)
and to the OP i highly doubt the ps3 bundle would include a hub because i think most of the ps3 owners have an older model which had 4 usb ports. it would make no sense to give them a hub they dont need. they do sell the hub separately for those that need it. i havent seen the price tag, but you may want to compare prices to a regular pc hub. theyre mostly the same thing and one may be cheaper than the other.

The USB hub doesn't ship with the PS3 version of Rock Band. If you need a USB hub, go to the support.ea.com/rockband site and then call EA. Explain the situation to them and they'll send you one. Alternatively, if you don't want to wait, you can run out and buy one. They're really cheap, and any powered USB hub will work with Rock Band.

You need to make sure to get a "powered" USB hub.

You can get a 4 port USB hub at Walgreens for $12, it is almost identical to the one that comes in the 360 version of the game.

A hub didn't come with my RB for PS3. PS3 has 4 usb ports already on the front. The guitar is wireless aslo. You should be good to go..
