does the GH3 controller for PC work with rockband on the 360?

Can anybody confirm this? I can't wait any longer for the bundle to release up here in Canada so I am seriously considering just buying the game by itself and the only way I can get a guitar controller is by picking up a copy of GH3 for PC.(my old GH2 controller broke thats why I need this)

The link below contains a list of all guitars for all systems and which games they are compatible with...but I just want to see if anybody else has actually tried this and had it work for them.

The guitar in the PC GH3 is the Xbox 360 controller for GH2, the Gibson Xplorer. And yes, the Xplorer works fine in RB on the 360...I use it for bass.

However, this means you would be purchasing GH3. I would strongly advise against this.
