Small things but VERY annoying.

Firstly, if you enable No Fail mode, make it much clearer that any bands or characters created will not be saved. We spent the first evening after buying the game playing in band mode and then the next session found that nothing had been saved.

Only a googling resulted in an explanation. To say the air was blue would be an understatement.

THIS MUST BE ADDRESSED.

Secondly, and this is VERY annoying. During a long set the wireless controller used for the vocals can time out and go to sleep. This then causes the game to stop the song and ask for it to be reconnected.

How this was not found during testing I do not know. Ok, its easy enough just to waggle one of the analogue sticks during the gap between songs, but its also easy to forget.

Either, disable this sleep feature (if possible) or ask for the controller to be reconnected at the end of the song.

Other than that - cool.

Oh, and add a way to replay a song after you've performed it, as you can in SingStar. :)

Does the game not already warn you as soon as you enable No Fail mode that it disables all saving of any progress?

This sleep feature is part of your gaming console, not the game. It sounds like you have a PS3, and you can adjust those settings in the XMB.

Not that I recall seeing. But it should warn you when you setup a band and characters if you have it enabled (which we did), or when you start a band session.

Basically its not clear enough what the outcome is. Not helped by the fact that it constantly says 'Saving' when you've completed a song as usual anyway, but obviously nothing gets saved.

Totally agree its part of the console setup, but the game should bear this in mind - I shouldn't have to change a setting on the console just to play a game.
