How do you start a band

so basically i want to start a online band with my buddy but we are on the same xbox with different tags, all im asking is how do i get a online band going and have it to where i can find it on this site and what not?

There is no formal band creation that is available online. You can play online with people as a band, but it's more of a "rehearsal" or "audition" than it is actually "creating a band."

Then how do people have bands showing up on the site under the "bands" section

Those are bands they created locally.

Some people, including myself, have had issues with certain bands not being ranked or displayed on the website correctly. I'm not sure if it has to do with playing as a band while connected to XBL/PSN or not, but my suspicions are that is what it is.

Also, if you have a "vulgar" band name or band quote, you won't be ranked online.

Well we are both connected, and def no vulgarity with our name or quote. so i dont know but thanks for helping me dude i guess it will remain a mystery lol.
