Little Help? Preaze?

Hi there! So I just got Rock Band for the PS3 today for X-mas (w00t!) and I was hoping some people could help me with a few of my questions. Ok, first off, is there any way to change the setting so that you can play the drums without using the bass drum pedal? Unfortunately I am in a wheelchair and don't have any control over my feet. I'm fine with my hands, but foot pedals are a no go.

Another question I had was, is there any way to get the Rock Band guitar to work with Guitar Hero Rocks the 80's on the PS3? It seems like I can't sync my guitar up after I load up the game, and I wasn't sure if there was some kind of update that I need or if it just isn't possible to do this. Thanks in advance for any info.

Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the kick pedal for the drums. The store demo models of the drum and game did have this implemented, but that was because no kick pedals were included on the floor models in the interest of theft prevention. That "cheat" has been removed from the regular retail game.

In answer to your second question, no, the Fender won't work with previous GH games if you try to load them up and play them on the PS3. I've tried. Lord, how I've tried. It just doesn't work.

Hmm yah I wonder if HMX ever though about that... This person most likely isn't the first and definatly won't be the last who for whatever reason simply CANNOT use a kick pedal...

They really need to make it optional, maybe exclude achievements or leaderboards if it's that big a deal (I personally wouldn't care) but it should be addressed.

Try asking HMX Sean or HMX John Lok. They might be able to help. As the other guy said, i wouldnt care either, its not like its your fault. Maybe the can personally send you out some sort of update. I hope you get some sorta help. As for the guitar compatibility issues...Blame activision. They made sure the guitars wouldnt have compatibility, sorry. Nothing you can really do about that. But i hope your first problem works out ;)

One mo phing. Somebody i know had problems with usig the bass pedal (wasn't unable, just wasn't that good [yet]) So he had someone else do the pedal while he played, this might work for you if you got a friend to help you out temporarily until you talk to a HMX dev. good luck ;)
