Yea, so i've had this game for awhile, and its bothering me...
1.WHAT IS THE BATTERY CASE FOR?!
*i put batterys in it, and played, no difference, tried unplugging the guitar, not wireless, tried removing the batterys, no difference....WTH?! @$@#
2.Are the planning on making customs for this thing, or just the design?
*It has screws on the pick guard and the effect switch top comes off, are the gonna make customs for it?
*Why does the head come off it? :|

In other terms, although people have had alot of hardware issues with this thing, i havent. And i love this thing. Larger people can use it because its fullsize with the large buttons, while smaller people can use it because it has the frets down lower, with smaller buttons. The stupid gibson is only right for a midget with freakish fingers...its annoying. Ever see pix of like an 8 foot man playing with the xplorer? He has his shoulders all scrunched up and his arms all tight together....It looks stupid...

well the battery compartment is for PS3ers. The PS3 controller is wireless, and the actual plastic shell of the controller is the exact same. Thats why the battery compartment is still on the 360 version:P

As for the Screws on the faceplate. WHo knows. it would bec ool. I think the screws give it a realistic look though

Well that sucks, how come PS3 got it off the lot and 360 didnt? i know that they are planning to release a wireless though for like 80 bucks. Are they planning on making any of the other peripherials wireless? like the drums or the mic?

The reason for wireless / non-wireless has to do with words like Microsoft, Sony, cost, and cooperation. Don't worry, proper PS3 wireless controllers use Bluetooth which the Rock Band Stratocaster (PS3) doesn't. So they did the PS3 guitar half-ass and the XB360 guitar no-ass as far as wireless is concerned. The XB360 wireless will be full-ass when it comes out but it's highly doubtful that the PS3 one will get the full Bluetooth, dongleless design it deserves.

The screws on the pick guard: 1. Keep the piece on 2. Look like the real guitar. I doubt they'll make custom stuff for Rock Band that ever requires a screwdriver... apparently we're all stupid or something.

The head just ships so that it fits in a smaller box and leaves themselves open to a bass 4-string headstock later.
