Is it possible for either the singer or drummer to save a band member... or is it only guitarists?

Yep, singer and drummer and guitarist and bassist can all save Failed out band members. It's just slightly more difficult for the singer and drummer since they have to wait until an Overdrive section comes up, they can't just activate it any ol' time they want like a guitarist/bassist can.

Oh, I have to tell my kids this. Oldest daughter who plays the guitar, thought she had to wait till her overdrive came up and "give it up" to get her sister back in.

Is there one single place where all the tips/tricks/cheats can be found in a list? And is there any way to do a "no fail" game? I think in GH you can do a cheat to a no fail. Since only my oldest is proficient at this, the other two kids keep failing out, that's no fun. :s Or, I guess instead of a no fail cheat, then oldest daughter would just have to activate them back in?

Well when I said "any ol' time", I meant any ol' time once they actually have enough Overdrive to activate it. Just like normal, they need to have their bar filled up at least halfway to do a save too. When you do a save, it will deplete your Overdrive by an amount equal to half the full bar. So if you're at 3/4, it'll drop down to 1/4.

And as far as anyone is aware right now, there is no "no fail" cheat code found yet. There might very well be one in the game, but nobody's discovered it that I know of, and I'm pretty sure it would be on Scorehero already if someone had found it :)
