Background - Bought my copy of RB on launch day to make sure and get one for myself and the kinds for the holidays. Just opened it on the big day yesterday. As of right now everything works fine. However...
The drum pads just don't look right. The distance between the pad surface part and the housing is not the same all around all the pads. Most of them sit about 3/4 of an inch or so above the outer plastic edging but my red and blue ones have areas where they are more like 1/8 of an inch gap. My measurements may be off, but you get the idea... pretty good amount of space around most of the pads, couple of spots where there's almost none. I don't know which hight is correct, but it really doesn't seem like it should be inconsistent like that. Can anyone tell me if there is something wrong with these drums? As I said, it seems to be working fine now but if there is a contruction/assembly issue I would like to get it taken care of now rather than have them die down the road after the free replacment window is gone.
