Beatles Wii Instrument Connection Problems

Got the Beatles Rockband for Wii for xmas. First weekend the guitar connected for, at best, three songs in a row. No problem with the drums. Second weekend neither the drums or the guitar connected for long. I unplugged or moved all nearby WiFi devices it didn't seem to help. I also tried new batteries in the guitar but it didn't help. Only thing I can think is that I've either got defective equipment or that one or more of my WiFi devices somewhere else in the house is interfering. List of devices:
Panasonic KX-TG9331 1.9GHz cordless phone system
Sonos 2.4GHz (tried 3 channels - 1, 6 & 11)
iPhone
Mac
PC
WiFi router

It's of course annoying that everything else works fine. Any ideas?

The instruments connect via Bluetooth, not Wifi. Make sure there aren't many Bluetooth devices interfering nearby.

I have the same problem. I thought it was wifi problem too. I can't fix it. I called tech support, they were no help
